Gillis Lab Public Data

This directory is set up to allow easy sharing of data.  
Files placed here will be visible on the internet at:
	http://labshare.cshl.edu/shares/gillislab/

Directory Layout/Purpose

/people		User-specific directories. Subdirectories are 
		CSHL usernames.  

/papers		Permanent per-paper supplementary data. One 
		subdirectory per paper: <project><year> 

/resource	General project/cross-project data. Sub-
		directories defined by themes/cross-paper 
		projects. 

/temp		Place for temporary publication (e.g. to 
		share a large file with a collaborator.)  

In general, once data has been placed it should not be moved 
(except for /temp), because people may have bookmarked or shared links
to it at the given location.
