Started presenting visual trials with 20% probability after 65 performed trials. So annoying... everything else is really nice, behavior is good, virtually no drift / movement. Just barely any activity in the green channel. Something seems wrong with the animals eye: I can't see the pupil although the laser is clearly running. Usually the pupil should be illuminated. Maybe, this doesn't happen with the PPC window - check if the pupil can still be extracted... 70000 up 5 Switched to all vision after 345 performed trials. Animal got pretty disengaged somewhere in the middle of the session and behavior is not as good. Still at 75% audio detection though. =========================== 08/07/18 Imaging depth is 180um. Laser at 48%. Location should match edge of V1 - mostly posterior to RL. Very few modulated neurons. Very little motion, shielding is good. Pupil seems dark instead of bright. 25000 up 5 Bpod matlab crashed around frame 43000. Restarted. 90000 up 5 Switched to all vision after 230 performed trials in new session. Location should match V1 - same location as yesterday. Laser at 50%. Signal is not great but see a little bit of modulation. Little motion, shielding is good. Location should match S1 - anterior to presumed PPC location. Laser power at 50%. Pupil might be a bit better. Laser is more visible here. Signal seems ok. Some cells seem quite stationary but I don't see them in the red channel. Big shadow in the center but should have enough neurons. See some movement modulation. Should be good. First 10 trials are visual, next 50 are audio, 80% audio probability after that. Not very motivated anymore after ~400 trials. Consider cutting the session there. Stopped after 426 performed trials. Auditory performance 74%, vision 53% =========================== 08/10/18 Imaging depth is 150um. Location should match RS - close to medial edge of the window. Pretty dark - Laser power at 55%. Had to change sinusiodal correction from 160 to 161. Would be good to know what that is determined by. See some modulation in the field. Won't have that many neurons but should be ok. Behavior is good. Switched to audiovisual after 65 performed trials. Visual prob. is 25%. Pupil is hard to see again but might be ok. Stopped after 500 performed trials.
